Waterline break forces Oklahoma prison to truck in bottled waterHOMINY — Inmates at the Dick Conner Correctional Center are drinking bottled water and using buckets of water to fill their toilets after a Saturday waterline break. "We had a waterline break, and then they got the water back on, and then there was a leak at the city level. And now we're trying to pressurize the water," said Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokeswoman Terri Watkins. Watkins said the roughly 1,200 inmates at the medium security prison were able to shower Sunday evening and Tuesday, however, the water pressure was not sustainable, and crews are working to fix the problem. Watkins said aside from bringing in bottled water and ice, each cell was given a bucket of water to refill toilets after each use.
