A Monroe woman is facing a charge of aggravated second-degree domestic battery after reportedly beating her partner with a shovel or flagpole. According to an arrest affidavit for Shalonda Robinson, 39, 311 Pershing Ave., the victim in the incident suffered severe swelling and obvious deformity to his right arm during the incident. The officer reported the arm may have broken, and the victim said the arm had "gone numb." He said he put his arm up in an attempt to protect his head from Robinson's swings.
