The United States came back three times to beat Sweden 4-3 at the ice hockey world championship Monday in Cologne, Germany. Player-of-the-game Johnny Gaudreau scored twice, J.T. Compher scored the winner, and Jimmy Howard stopped 39 shots as the Americans recorded their second win following their surprise loss to co-host Germany on Friday. Clayton Keller tied it after Elias Lindholm's early score on a power play for Sweden, but the Swedes regained the lead on another Lindholm goal.
