Work has stood still for hours for multiple agencies and foreign diplomatic offices housed at the ITC building in Tamuning while authorities investigate a bomb threat. A few hundred government and private business employees were evacuated this morning after the threat — a written note found in a bathroom inside the building — was discovered, authorities reported. The building was evacuated around 11 a.m., and workers at agencies such as the Guam Economic Development Authority were still waiting for clearance to re-enter the building at 3 p.m., said Ed Camacho with GEDA. Guam Fire Department spokesman firefighter Kevin Reilly said authorities can’t give the all-clear until a bomb-sniffing K-9 unit has conducted a sweep of the offices.
