While it is highly likely that Sanders won fairly easily, nothing is assured at this point There have been stories running around the internet that he wiped out Clinton These results came from polling stations abroad. The problem with relying on the stations result is that there are many areas with sizable numbers of Americans that have no stations and these people voted by e-mail, fax or mail (like me) While places in Europe had many stations, that wasn't true elsewhere Korea, most of Southeast Asia, much of western Asia, Australia and New Zealand had zero polling stations. China had one and Japan had 2.
So, as I said, Sanders (my choice) probably did very well. The 21st is the target date to actually find out

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. To our fellow citizens that reside in other countries, please take the time to vote. Whether you vote for Clinton or Sanders your participation in the electoral process is important and no matter which candidate is nominated, the alternatives from the other party.

The whole Democrats Abroad primary is a bit deceiving in my opinion. Most American expats I know...and I know quite a few around the world and here in the UK where I am....vote by Absentee Ballot. The Democrats Abroad primary is notoriously disorganized. By the time I was notified about the details of the primary, I had already received and returned my absentee ballot to my last state of residence. Had I wanted to vote in the DA primary, I would have either had to travel by train for over 4 hours to London to go vote in a pub or download 17 pages of pdf instructions and forms to try and vote by mail in their primary.
It is estimated that there are nearly 8.5 million Americans living abroad. Only 27,000 voted in the last primary in 2008 and it is my understanding turnout was anticipated to be even lower this time.
