Clinton, Sanders agree on date for New York's Democratic presidential primary debateGet ready for the Brooklyn brawl. Democratic presidential rivals Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will face off April 14 in the borough of kings and churches. The hotly anticipated showdown is five days before the critical New York primary election. The verbal duel will start at 9 p.m. and be broadcast by CNN and NY1. CNN’s Wolf Blitzer will moderate. The network’s chief political correspondent, Dana Bash, and NY1 political anchor Errol Louis will also have a chance to question the candidates, along with a panelist from the Daily News. The Clinton and Sanders campaigns finally came to a consensus Monday after The News and NY1 invited the bickering candidates to a debate at a CUNY building.
