Snyder: State may not pay legal fees for those charged in Flint crisisLANSING — The criminal charges filed Wednesday against two state employees have resulted in both being suspended without pay, and the state may revisit the idea of continuing to pay the employees' legal fees, Gov. Rick Snyder said at a news conference Wednesday. Snyder held the news conference to discuss the criminal charges in the Flint drinking water crisis announced Wednesday by Attorney General Bill Schuette. So after that initial short-term halting of his pay, Busch had remained suspended but was again receiving full pay until Wednesday. Prysby was still working after moving to a new job in another division of the DEQ. Now that they are criminally charged, both are suspended without pay indefinitely, officials said.
