A police bomb squad Wednesday detonated a live explosive found near an office in west Omaha.
Authorities were dispatched to the area around 5:30 p.m. after the device was spotted.
Investigators said the device was cylindrical, wrapped in electrical tape and filled with explosive powder.
Authorities said it was detonated without incident or harm to anyone.
