Huntress Kendall Jones announces retirement from Texas Tech cheerleading to focus on school, hunting
Texas Tech cheerleader and controversial huntress Kendall Jones announced Saturday that she would be retiring from cheerleading after 19 years of participating in the activity.
Jones made the announcement on her Instagram page on the same day as tryouts for the upcoming cheerleading season.
“It's a bittersweet ending to my 19 year career and one of the hardest decisions I've made to not try out again,” Jones said on Instagram.
She said on her Instagram account that she wants to put more focus on her schoolwork and hunting.
