Parents need to be aware of a new “game” recently brought to light by the Somerton Police Department. The game, for lack of a better word, involves a dangerous form of drug abuse and experimentation that could have tragic results. Called Skittles, it starts by a group of youths taking a variety of pills from medicine cabinets and mixing them together in a bag. Then, they agree to take a minimum number of pills, and pass them out. However, they don’t know what, exactly, they are taking, nor do they know how they will react to the drugs or what sort of drug interactions could occur. After reading this story it seems like a wise precaution to lock away all prescriptions to keep the children safe.
