CASPER, Wyo. — A Casper man who caused up to $1 million worth of damage at a local bentonite mine could face 10 years in prison after admitting his involvement Tuesday. Mark Faulcon pleaded guilty in Natrona County District Court to felony property destruction, conspiracy to commit property destruction and conspiracy to commit burglary. Authorities say Faulcon and another man, Adam Melikian, burglarized and damaged several buildings and vehicles in January at the mine, which is at the intersection of Poison Spider and Gas Hills roads. The damage appeared to have been caused by large machinery, according to court documents. Faulcon could serve up to 10 years in prison as part of a sentencing agreement with state prosecutors. He will also be required to pay restitution, though that figure has not yet been decided. Faulcon has bonded out of jail pending sentencing.
