Milo Yiannopoulos (Breitbart tech editor) at the University of Oregon: 'I don't want any Muslims in the country' and other bigoted commentsThe University of Oregon's Young Americans for Liberty club hosted Breitbart tech editor and self-proclaimed "fabulous supervillain" Milo Yiannopoulos Tuesday night, an event that produced such statements as, "I don't want any Muslims in the country" and "people are not racist anymore." Back in April, the university's student government approved a $4,500 request from the libertarian student group to fund the speech. A pair of reporters from the Emerald, the university's independent media group, tweeted the event. Throughout his time at Columbia Hall, Yiannopoulos claimed that men earn more than women because "they work harder," that "cultural appropriation is a lie" and that "what makes this country great is whiteness." Here are a few of the other claims Yiannopoulos made during the Tuesday evening talk. (Warning: many of these statements may be offensive): Read more: www.oregonlive.com/today/index.ssf/2016/05/milo_yiannopoulos_at_university_of_oregon.html
