Cat bites gone wrong: Family pet sends man to hospital with potentially life-threatening blood poisoningOWATONNA — After several deep cat bites to his hands, Per Kvalsten spent five nights in the hospital to treat blood poisoning. Local veterinarians say that infections caused by cat bites are more common than people realize.
