World's ugliest color, described as 'sewage-tinged hue,' defended by Michigan companyGRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Apparently the ugliest color in the world is opaque couche. The green-brown shade is being described as a "sewage-tinged hue" by House Beautiful. The color was first labeled as the ugliest by the Australian government, which deemed it such after hiring researchers to find the most unappealing shade to put on cigarette packages to discourage smoking. The designation has since drawn the attention of media outlets around the globe Opaque Couche, officially known as Pantone 448 C, is being unfairly depicted, insists the experts at The Pantone Color Institute in Carlstadt, N.J. Yuck. It is kinda depressing. I did not wear brown pants for over a decade after working as a pizza delivery driver and having to wear brown pants at work. I don't believe that I would ever get caught wearing that shade of brown either. I preferred blacks, blues or grays because they made my butt look good.
