State emergency management officials say 11 people have been killed and 23 have been hurt after severe weather hit southern Georgia, according to the Associated Press. -snip- Two people died in Brooks County. -snip- The Berrien County Sheriff's Office also confirmed at least two people died during the storm, according to WALB-TV. Information is limited at this time. Seven people were killed in Cook County and two were killed in Berrien County. At least three more injuries were confirmed in Thomas County.
