Grace Sinfield’s father can make it through almost 10 minutes of talking about the state’s DWI battle before he reaches for a Kleenex to catch the tears falling for his daughter, who was killed in a suspected DWI crash in November. She was sober. So were her boyfriend and his brother, also crushed to death in their small car as they drove home from a family gathering. Bill Sinfield tells his story now as several anti-DWI bills make their way through the state Legislature. Because he works as the headmaster at Sandia Preparatory School, a not-for-profit, he says he is restricted in lobbying for any bills.
