That is the opinion of this purported Democrat in Florida: www.miamiherald.com/opinion/op-ed/article61164382.htmlI disagree. I think the interplay between Sanders and Clinton is feeding interest in both campaigns that otherwise wouldn't be there. And as the year goes on, the contrast plays up her superior military and diplomatic knowledge, which will play better with Independents and refugee Republicans in November. Old Yiddish saying that when the baker and chimney sweep fight, the sweep ends up whiter and the baker dirtier, but whatever Clinton and Sanders do to each other in the nomination process it will be mild compared to the dogfight that will happen with the Republican nominee. No escaping the general election: there will be blood. And come on, do we imagine that a Republican will throw much mud about Hillary's connections to Goldman Sachs?

I believe that giving people a choice of candidates is the best thing for democracy; however, I also believe that there will be a point for one of the candidates to withdraw from the race. Over the next 60 days it should become apparent which candidate will win the nomination and hopefully all of us can unite behind that candidate.
It does bother me when the supporters of either candidate state that they will refuse to vote because their preferred candidate isn't the nominee or that they will vote for an outsider such as Jill Stein in the Green Party or Bloomberg since that will only enable the Republicans. We already saw what happened with Nader on the ballot in 2000 and I would hate to see history repeat itself.

Frankly if there were a competitive Green Party candidate, I'd be there. [Took the test at votesmart.org/voteeasy/ and in fact did come out as more of a Greenie than a Demmie.] Reality is that it will be Republican versus Democrat and that gives me no choice. I'll vote fer a yaller dog versus a Republican. Next 14 days could say a lot about how feasible graceful withdrawal is.

Is this a serious question?
Why on earth would anyone believe that Hillary Clinton should withdraw.
