Off-duty Tulsa County sheriff's deputy found sleeping in department vehicle reportedly had been drinkingAn off-duty Tulsa County sheriff’s deputy reportedly was drinking before he was found sleeping in a county vehicle on a Rogers County roadside early Sunday. Before Rogers County sheriff’s deputies found Tulsa County Deputy Robert Lovett, he was involved in a domestic-abuse incident in Wagoner County, Wagoner County Sheriff’s Maj. Gary Handley said. Wagoner County deputies were called about 3 a.m. to mediate a domestic situation that apparently occurred while Lovett and a woman were driving back to a Wagoner County residence from Tulsa, Handley said. When deputies arrived at the home, located in the 1400 block of South 273rd East Avenue in Catoosa, Lovett was gone, Handley said.
