Pennsylvania officials say Delaware wrongly took more than $10 million in unclaimed money orders and are suing the state to try and get it back. The impending legal fight highlights the potential flaws in a controversial but important source of revenue for state government at a time when some legislators are calling for an overhaul of the state's finances. "This particular amount of money is relatively small for us, so I don't think it's going to create any big shifts by itself," said state Rep. Paul Baumbach, D-Newark, who sits on the House Revenue and Finance Committee. "But it reinforces the need for us to work together to come up with systemic changes." The lawsuit, filed in federal court Friday, claims money transfer company MoneyGram Inc., sent $10.3 million from money orders that went unclaimed between 2000-2009 to Delaware.
