Former Gov. Steve Beshear said Wednesday that Gov. Matt Bevin talks about transparency, but isn’t showing Kentuckians anything except politics.
During a press conference at the Capital Plaza Hotel Wednesday, Beshear told members of the media he couldn’t stand by and listen to Bevin make last week’s allegations against his family and administration.
Without giving any names, Beshear accused Bevin of bullying state university presidents by not approving agency bonds, holding road projects hostage and firing state employees who gave contributions to Democrat candidates.
According to Beshear, Bevin “needs to stop campaigning and start governing.”
