Bill Clinton to make 2-day campaign swing through New Mexico
Former President Bill Clinton will make a two-day campaign swing through New Mexico later this month to stump for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
Bill Clinton, who served as president from 1993 through 2000, will hold public events in Albuquerque and Española on May 24 and 25, the Clinton campaign announced Thursday.
No other information was released about the events.
New Mexico is among the final wave of states to hold its primary election. This year’s primary is set for June 7, with 34 delegates at stake on the Democratic side.
Bill Clinton, who carried New Mexico in both 1992 and in his 1996 re-election bid, is no stranger to the state.
