Man was walking cat when neighbor twice tried to run him over, Whitehall police say
WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP — A Whitehall Township man walking a cat Tuesday evening had to run for cover when his neighbor twice tried to run him over, according to court records.
Dale Stickel said he was walking the cat around 7:09 p.m. when he saw his neighbor Robert Creem, 69, speed out of a parking lot on Alta Drive and Creekside Road and drive over 200 feet of grass toward him, according to court records.
Stickel jumped out of the car's path, but Creem crossed the grass again and drove toward Stickel, records show. Stickel said he dodged the car a second time, records show.
Whitehall police did not say if Stickel or the cat were injured.
