Buy2Networks, an Israeli company, has announced it has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Google in the U.S. Court for the District of Delaware. Led by Chief Executive Office Aviv Refuah, Buy2Networks alleged Google infringed upon a patent it had for Internet search methodologies that allow a user to find a website without knowing an exact site address or having to skim through search results to find the requested website. Google, a Mountain View, California-based tech company, uses a similar method for it's "I'm Feeling Lucky" service, according to the lawsuit. Refuah reported the lawsuit to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, according to a statement he released this week. He alleges that Googles methodology violates a U.S. Patent issued to his company in 2014 and 1998 patent application filed in Israel. In the complaint, Buy2Networks asked for a jury trial against Google in which it will seek damages. The plaintiff will also ask the court to enjoin Google form using that search methodology.
