Bernie Sanders' 2nd stop in Syracuse less about him, more about 'political revolution'
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Sen. Bernie Sanders' second visit to Syracuse showed what a difference two months can make in a presidential campaign.
In April, ahead of New York's Democratic primary, the Sanders campaign came to Syracuse in full force. He filled a large ballroom in the OnCenter Convention Center.
Friday, in his second visit to Syracuse during this presidential election season, Sanders turned the spotlight off himself during a rally of a much smaller scale.
Sanders was in Syracuse to campaign for Eric Kingson, who is running for the Democratic nomination in the 24th Congressional District primary. Sanders stopped in Syracuse as part of a swing through New York state.
