Days after devastating floods swept across West Virginia, the state’s death toll continues to rise and thousands of residents remain without power. The addition of a body found in Greenbrier County Saturday brings the total number of confirmed deaths to 24 people, according to a release from the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Sixteen of the confirmed deaths were in Greenbrier County, according to WVDHSEM. Six were in Kanawha County, and one each was in Jackson County and Ohio County. The Federal Emergency Management Agency granted a request for help from Gov.
