A Florida judge has ordered the Agency for Healthcare Administration to pay $7,170 to Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida to makeup for the attorney's fees of a lawsuit it had filed against the organization last year and later dropped. In August 2015, after investigating the operations of Planned Parenthood clinics in Florida that performed abortions, AHCA filed a lawsuit against three of the clinics, saying that they performed abortions at 13 weeks, and that was beyond the first trimester limit. In it suit AHCA said that the first trimester ended at 12 weeks after the last normal menstrual period. Planned Parenthood fought the charge, saying that AHCA had previously agreed to marking the first trimester at 14 weeks after the last period.
