Woman, man show up at Kansas City hospital with gunshot wounds
Police were investigating a reported double shooting after a man and a woman showed up at a Kansas City hospital with gunshot wounds.
The two went to the hospital about 8:05 p.m. They told police that they had been shot near 23rd Street and Interstate 70 or Monroe Avenue.
The man suffered serious injuries. The woman’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police were investigating the area of the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
