CHEYENNE – Several new laws take effect tomorrow, July 1, a date which also marks the beginning of the 2017-18 biennial budget.
The laws were passed during the Wyoming Legislature’s budget session earlier this year and include:
• Electric car decals now need to be renewed every year.
• Hospitals are now required to give patients the opportunity to designate a caregiver.
• Laramie County is now authorized to have a new district court judge.
