Stillman College has launched a new program that plans to use debt forgiveness as an incentive for former students with outstanding bills to return and complete their degrees. “We are trying to find a way to get people back to school,” Stillman President Peter Millet said. Millet noted outstanding debt often stalls college educations as students are prevented from taking more courses until they completely pay the bills from previous semesters. “Most schools are going to say you can’t go back until you pay,” he said.
