The woman stabbed because she apparently spilled cheese dip over the weekend remained in critical condition Monday, police said. Shownae Davis, 35, was stabbed in the chest late Saturday night after an argument began over some spilled Rotel dip. The incident began a little before 10 p.m. at the Bent Tree apartments at 3471 West Briar Park, not far from the airport, police said. According to an affidavit, Davis got into an argument with Yolanda Tucker and a man later identified as Michael Weston. Weston gave Tucker a pocketknife, the affidavit said, and she stabbed Davis in the chest. Davis fled in a car, trying to reach the hospital, but instead wrecked.
