Two-year-old child's body found near Huey P. Long Bridge; parents questionedThe body of a two-year-old boy was discovered on the Mississippi River levee late Wednesday (July 6), according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. JPSO deputies said the body was located on the river's east bank in a wooded area underneath the Huey P. Long Bridge at 7:56 p.m. The boy's body was buried in a bag, said Granville Morse, Jefferson Parish deputy coroner. Morse said an autopsy will be performed on the partially decomposed body on Thursday to determine the cause of death. At 9 p.m, JPSO spokesman Col.
