For the second time in two months, copper wire was stolen from the construction site of the new Burleigh-Mandan jail.
Sometime from June 24 to July 6, a 600-foot roll of copper wire valued at $900 was stolen, Bismarck Police said.
A similar crime was reported on May 10, when a 2,500-foot spool of copper wire was reported missing.
Officer Pat Renz said the case would be difficult to solve due to the number of workers in the area and the lack of cameras.
