Maryland State Government offices will be closed on Monday as the winter storm cleanup continues, Gov. Larry Hogan announced Sunday. Emergency essential personnel should report as scheduled. "I want to thank the citizens of Maryland for heeding our call to be patient and to be safe by staying off the roads. I must ask that Marylanders continue to be patient as the cleanup and recovery continues," said Hogan. "Tomorrow morning conditions will be icy and dangerous. By closing state offices tomorrow, crews can carry on with their work to clear state roads." Maryland State House and General Assembly open at noon. The city has also closed government offices. www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryland/politics/blog/bal-maryland-state-government-offices-to-close-on-monday-20160124-story.html
