HARRISBURG- The maddeningly slow cleanup effort in Harrisburg is set to get a boost Tuesday, city officials said, when they bring in 10 additional front-end loaders and 16 trucks. The influx of snow-fighting vehicles will bolster the city's existing arsenal of 15 snow plows and four front-end loaders. "That's going to make I think a really big difference," said Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse at a news briefing Monday morning. The city is hiring the private contractors to help speed up cleanup efforts in the city, which was buried by nearly three feet of snow Saturday. Many residents remained trapped in neighborhoods with unplowed or impassable streets Monday, two days after the snow dropped.
