Florida man jailed in Houston after bringing child along on sex date, claimed it was for research
A Florida man has been sentenced to 90 days in the Harris County Jail and fined $1,000 for bringing his 6-year-old daughter with him when he went to a Harris County hotel for sex.
Jean Rolex Fleurine, 32, of North Miami, Florida, thought he was going to meet a prostitute on July 21, but the woman turned out to be an undercover Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy, according to law enforcement records.
Fleurine was convicted and sentenced Wednesday of prostitution after a two-day trial in a case prosecuted by the Harris County District Attorney's Office Sex Crimes Division.
Fleurine got involved in the case after responding to an advertisement on a website known for sex solicitation, prosecutors said. He contacted the deputy with a text message and agreed to meet her at the hotel and pay for sex.
