A Keizer child care center has been shut down by the state after years of complaints reporting unsanitary conditions and safety risks for children. The license for Iris Valley Learning Center, 530 Dietz Ave NE , was revoked last week by the Early Learning Division of the Oregon Department of Education. "This is a facility with chronic violations and we tried working with them, but it kept rolling back," said Dawn Woods, the child care director for the Early Learning Division. Woods said the division has received well over a dozen complaints since the center's inception in 2006, including unsanitary refrigerators, dirt covering the length of the kitchen and dirt on the ground where children crawl or walk.
