OXFORD - The NCAA has charged Ole Miss with roughly 30 rule violations across three sports including football, Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde reported Friday afternoon. The story added that, citing anonymous sources, Ole Miss received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA that details violations having occurred in football, women’s basketball and track and field. The story added the breakdown of violations among the sports is uncertain. “As has been the case for the past three years, we are bound by confidentiality and cannot comment publicly on the matter,” Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork said in a statement. “However, I can say that I’m confident in how our coaches and staff operate our program, and we take compliance, NCAA and SEC rules very seriously. We are working hard to seek a resolution to this matter.” Read more: www.clarionledger.com/story/sports/college/ole-miss/2016/01/29/report-ole-miss-charged-violations/79527314/
