Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced his plan to lure business partners to the state by promoting "a new brand direction" at a meeting of developers and local business associations in Little Rock on Thursday. Speaking in front of a backdrop that featured the designed logo of his new Arkansas Inc. initiative, Hutchinson said the plan will tout the state's "versatile workforce" and central location in the United States as a draw for companies looking to expand or relocate their operations. The marketing campaign will carry the slogan "When you're in Arkansas, you're in very good company," which the governor called "a simple message that communicates everything we're trying to accomplish in this state." In his announcement, the governor touted the use economic development funds and his own campaigning to draw companies into bringing jobs to Arkansas.
