Couple who planted drugs in PTA president's car must pay $5.7 million, jury decidesAn Orange County couple has been ordered to pay $5.7 million for planting drugs in the car of a former PTA president. The Orange County Register reported that a jury made the award Friday to Kelli Peters in a lawsuit she brought against Kent and Jill Easter. Peters says she was humiliated and the Irvine couple have never shown remorse for their actions.
