CHICAGO — The Democrats hoping for a chance to replace Republican U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk of Illinois are scheduled to square off in a televised debate. Chicago's WLS-TV is hosting a Friday evening debate for U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth, former Chicago Urban League CEO Andrea Zopp and state Sen. Napoleon Harris. The candidates are seeking their party's nomination in the March 15 primary. The national debt and criminal justice have been among the campaign issues. More recently Zopp has zeroed in on votes and policy stances taken by Duckworth, who already has statewide name recognition as a congresswoman and through veterans' affairs positions in Illinois and the Obama administration.
