Two NYPD officers were shot in Brooklyn early Saturday in an exchange of gunfire with a man who led them on a car chase and rammed a police car head-on, according to sources. One officer was struck in his vest and the other in the back a little before 3:30 a.m. The 81st Precinct officers were rushed to Kings County Hospital, where one was in surgery. They are expected to survive, sources said. The cops tried to conduct a car stop after observing the suspect with a firearm in the vehicle.
