At least five people were wounded Sunday afternoon in separate shootings on the South Side, police said. The most recent shooting happened about 2:40 p.m. in Englewood, police said. A 23-year-old man was walking on the 5900 block of South Normal Boulevard when someone fired from a passing vehicle, striking him in the hand and shoulder, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and his condition was stabilized. At 1:10 p.m., a man and a woman were wounded in the 5400 block of South Harper Avenue in the Hyde Park neighborhood. A 32-year-old man was grazed in the head by a bullet, and a 23-year-old woman was shot in the leg, police said.
