California woman's corpse found at bottom of laundry chute at Las Vegas hotel, police investigating 'suspicious death'
A California woman's body was found at the bottom of a laundry chute in downtown Las Vegas's tallest hotel-casino, cops said.
Employees at the D Las Vegas found Kalli Medina-Brown’s corpse on Sunday at about 2:40 a.m. and called police.
The Las Vegas metropolitan police department is investigating it as a “suspicious death,” public information officer Larry Hadfield told the Daily News in a statement.
Initial reports indicated that Medina-Brown, a 26-year-old California resident, fell down the chute, but investigators are still looking into if the death was a homicide, KVVU-TV reported.
