A state House subcommittee will consider Monday whether to proceed with a formal impeachment process against Attorney General Kathleen Kane. The hearing, one of the first steps in a potentially long process, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Earlier this month, the full House voted 170-12 to impanel a subcommittee to investigate whether Kane should face articles of impeachment. Unlike the failed Senate removal process, which was centered on the question of whether Kane could continue on with a suspended law license, the impeachment process would likely include information about the criminal charges she's facing and other allegations of misconduct.
