CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — People who make homemade beer and wine would be able to share their creations with others at brewfests and contests, under a bill endorsed by a House committee. The House Revenue Committee voted 7-2 Wednesday to send the proposal to the full House for debate. The bill has already passed the Senate. Sen. Dave Kinskey, the bill's main sponsor, said current state law only allows noncommercial home brews for personal consumption. Kinskey, R-Sheridan, said his proposal would conform state law with federal law, which does allow for homemade beers, wines and mead to be consumed at contests and brewfest events.
