Nashua mom used heroin the night she allegedly murdered 3-year-old daughter, according to court recordsNASHUA -- New court documents indicate that Katlyn Marin used heroin on the night she allegedly killed her 3-year-old daughter at their Nashua home. This week, prosecutors filed several new motions in the murder case, including a request to admit Marin's alleged heroin use for impeachment purposes if Marin takes the stand in her own defense. Marin, 26, is facing alternative counts of second-degree murder and manslaughter for allegedly assaulting Brielle Gage multiple times on Nov. 24, 2014, and Nov. 25, 2014, at their home on Oak Street. In addition to the heroin use, other information was revealed in newly filed court documents at Hillsborough County Superior Court South, including allegations that Marin was committing welfare fraud, and that she previously considered placing Brielle up for adoption.
