BENTONVILLE — A Rogers attorney filed a federal lawsuit Thursday against Benton County Sheriff Kelley Cradduck and the county alleging that whistle-blowers were targeted in the sheriff's office. Don Kendall, who represents three employees of the sheriff’s office, filed the lawsuit in federal court in Fayetteville. Kendall represents Robin Holt, Megan Rutledge and Dianna Goodwin. The lawsuit names Cradduck as a defendant individually and in his official capacity as sheriff. Benton County is also named as a defendant. Kendall requested a grievance hearing last week for his three clients, but the county denied the request. Kendall warned that he would file the lawsuit if his grievance request was denied.
