CHEYENNE – It’s not easy to be one of the 13 Democratic lawmakers in Wyoming’s 90-member Legislature. A Wyoming Tribune Eagle analysis showed only seven bills sponsored by Democrats passed the Legislature and were signed into law this year. And, continuing a trend from past years, the success rate of bills with a Democratic lead sponsor was significantly lower than bills that had the backing of a Republican or interim committee. “The biggest frustration is to see one of the bills you are sponsoring fail and then see it pass the next year when a Republican sponsors the same thing,” said Rep.
