Ted Cruz today calls for stepped up police patrols of Muslim neighborhoods in order to detect and prevent radicalization. talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/ted-cruz-police-muslim-neighborhoodsAnd how, you may ask, can police driving through a neighborhood detect radicalization? I have some ideas about that: Look for -- -- Groups of bearded men dressed in bedsheets loading or unloading heavy boxes. -- Men and/or women in robes doing military drills in the front yard. -- sounds of explosions not coming from X-Boxes or Bruce Willis movies. -- impacts on police vehicles or the persons of police officers unrelated to hail or sandstorms. -- screams of "Allahu akhbar!" emanating from back yards. -- mysterious laser dots spotted on anything. -- men and/or women openly carrying guns -- er, my mistake, it's a constitutional right, no?

O.k. The above represents the effects of radicalization. So how do you detect radicalization before it occurs or as it is occurring? Here are ideas about that.
Look for quiet, unsmiling people. Drawn curtains at the house. Nobody outside. Lot of internet use. If you see that, get the SWAT force ready.
