CHEYENNE – Laramie County Sheriff Danny Glick said Wednesday that the people of Wyoming need to be vigilant because terrorist cells are here.
Last month, FBI Director James Comey confirmed that the agency is actively investigating people in various stages of radicalizing in all 50 states.
Glick said he made his comment based on that announcement.
He also noted that law enforcement he knows in the southwest border states have been finding evidence of illegal immigrants who are OTM – “Other than Mexicans” – such as Islamic prayer rugs and Korans.
